The Asch conformity experiment is another classic of psychological studies, although maybe not as intriguing as, say, the Milgram experiment. I think the interesting thing about this one is not that the person actually changes their mind to the wrong answer, they just express publicly the wrong answer. The implications are interesting in that you could hypothesize that a continual reaffirmation shared with other people, over time, will eventually influence what you actually believe.
